BROSS & Partners advises TVAd on internal procedures for acquiring FIFA World Cup 2026™ broadcasting rights

BROSS & Partners is pleased to announce that it has advised Vietnam Television Advertising and Copyright Center (“TVAd”) of Vietnam Television (“VTV”) — on the establishment and implementation of internal procedures for the acquisition of broadcasting rights to the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Finals.

Under the agreement, VTV becomes the exclusive broadcaster in Vietnam for the largest FIFA World Cup in history, featuring 48 teams and 104 matches hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico in summer 2026. The rights package covers comprehensive multi-platform distribution, including terrestrial, cable, satellite, IPTV, radio, mobile, internet, and public screenings.

BROSS & Partners provided comprehensive legal support to TVAd throughout the internal preparation process, ensuring full compliance with internal regulations and Vietnam law. This assistance enabled TVAd and VTV to efficiently navigate the complex legal and procedural requirements associated with securing high-value international sports broadcasting rights.
