Famous Geographical Indication Phu Quoc for fish sauce that earned EU Certificate of Protected Designation of Origin (also known as PDO "Phu Quoc") in mid July 2013, was officially fell into the hands of a Hong Kong company, Viet Huong Trading Company Limited in the giant market of China after such company defeated previous opposition filed before the China Trademark Office (CTMO) against its preliminarily approved trademark Phú Quốc & device in China
